I Can't Believe I'm Transcribing a Dialogue with My Toddler

This morning, after a tedious toddler-mom argument:
Crabmommy: "When will you listen?"
Crabtot: "When I'm thirteen."

hehehehehe...

If she HAS started to listen by then, she'll stop again by THEN!

Of course, I STILL don't listen to my mother.

My son's answer to this very same question is, "When I'm a girl."

Not sure what to hope for here. . . .

I have many such delightful conversations with Modern Pre-schooler. She is so lovely at this age, she actually referred to me as an idiot the other day. Little ingrate.

"When I'm thirteen" struck me as rather sarcastic. And, MM, I think she may have muttered "idiot" under her breath right after. :)
